The Bachelor of Science in Information Systems (BSIS) prepares you for a cutting-edge career working with operating systems, networks, databases, and other key components of information systems. Classes are available completely online, or in a mixed-mode format or in person. BSIS is accredited by the Computing Accreditation Commission of ABET.

Program Overview

The Bachelor of Science in Information Systems (BSIS) is designed to introduce and reinforce the latest developments and standards in information systems. The program encompasses the concepts, principles, and processes for two broad areas of activity within organizations: 1) acquisition, deployment, management, and strategy for information technology resources and services and 2) packaged system acquisition or system development, operation, and evolution of infrastructure and systems for use in organizational processes. This degree prepares graduates for opportunities to work in and advance their careers with an emphasis on enterprise systems and application development.

Learning Outcomes

The Bachelor of Science in Information Systems will prepare students to:

Develop strong foundations in core areas of information systems
Integrate a foundational knowledge of all areas of information systems
Apply the fundamental principles and practices of information systems
Apply critical and ethical thinking to solve complex problems
